About photo calendars

Photo calendars are 12-month, wall-hanging calendars featuring your own photos and captions. Our photo calendars are printed on heavy-weight, glossy cardstock that is easy to write on and bound in the middle with twin-loop wire. The finished, folded size of each calendar is 15.6 x 10.25".

Gallery photo calendars begin with the month of your choice. Of our 18 exclusive designs, you can select a unique layout for each month featuring one or multiple photos and personalised captions. Plus, create your own custom cover with a photo and title.

Filling photo calendars using Autofill

Autofill assists you with making photo calendars by automatically inserting all of your photos from a single album of your choice into your photo calendar. You can rearrange the photos before completing your purchase.

To fill your photo calendar using Autofill:

  1. Select the album you would like to use for your photo calendar or click "upload new pictures" to add photos to an existing album or to create a new album.
  2. To import the photo titles as photo captions, check the "Import photo titles as captions" checkbox.
  3. Select the photo layout. (This layout will initially be used for all pages, but you can change the layouts later in the creation process by clicking "Choose page layout").
  4. Click "Next".

Autofill notes:

  • If you are automatically filling a previously edited photo calendar, Autofill will replace all of the contents within your photo calendar. If you have added photos and captions to the calendar, they will be replaced.
  • You may add photos to your photo calendar from your own albums and your My Friends' Albums.
  • If you have selected an album with more photos than the number of available photo slots, you will receive an Autofill message that reads: "Page limit reached. Your photo calendar has reached the limit of 12 months. Any photos that would have been placed after (last month and year) have not been added to your photo calendar".

About recommended resolution

For best results, we recommend that your photo calendar images have the following minimum resolutions:

Image size Minimum recommended
resolution (pixels)
Small 640 x 480
Medium 1024 x 768
Large 1280 x 960
Low-resolution warningLow resolution

A low resolution warning will appear on any photo that is below the recommended resolution for that size photo slot. You may choose to print a photo calendar that contains low-resolution images; however, the Gallery is not responsible for the printed quality of these images and will be unable to refund or reprint your order.

Using photos below this recommended resolution may result in printed images that are fuzzy, washed out or pixelated. Remember that the preview images that you see on your computer screen do not accurately reflect the quality of the printed photo.

Here are some sample images, which show possible distortions that may occur if you use images below the recommended resolution:

  3. Click the album that contains the photo you want to check
  4. Click the photo you want to check.
